We moved countries, from England to France, in mid-December and since then things have been slightly busier than I had hoped. Added to that is my (very) active toddler and well, the mix just doesn't leave much time for creativity.
But I've finally found some time at last. And with it, I have made some more BoulieBags as well as started printing some ChichiBoulie embellished mini-notecards. I'm pretty happy with the result. Now just to package them up and (fingers crossed) sell them.
My BoulieBags are selling well and I hope to be able to come up with some new designs in the coming weeks in order to add to the collection. Each bag is a one of a kind as I sew as I go, so to speak. I don't often have fabrics or combinations picked out ahead of time, rather I tend to let a bit of whimsy enter into the selection process and go with what suits me at the moment.
As for my notecards, I hope to have more listings soon as I find suppliers for the paper I use. I'm also hoping to add stationery as well as a few other bits and bobs in order to make my illustrations more accessible to more people.
