A New Project

I was approached a few months ago by someone who admired my illustrations and wanted to use one or two as embroidery patterns. I was just getting used to the world of Flickr and Etsy and wasn't really certain what to make of it, so I declined her offer.

But then I was asked by someone else. And then another person. And then someone suggested the idea of downloadable embroidery patterns and *bing* the light went on.

Why hadn't I thought of that? Well I have no idea to be honest because I think it's a fabulous idea! So I've looked into it and I will soon be offering my very first Chichiboulie embroidery pattern.

What will it be? Well that's going to remain a bit of a secret for the moment. Don't want to give everything away after all.

But stay tuned all you needle and thread enthusiasts out there...

And jumping in to add here... I've been blogged! It doesn't occur all that often and it's always such a pleasure when it does happen. So please click here and check it out and leave this lovely blogger a comment.

Oh how CUTE!!! They will be beyond adorable, no doubt about it!

I was asked to do embroidery patterns by some friends in the needle and yarn world. Haven't gotten started on anything yet, though. Very cool idea!!

That would be fantastic! i've wanted to buy some in the past but the subjects were always really naff - like winnie the pooh or kittens - you're designs would be amazing! I'm very excited for you- can't wait to see the results!
if I come out as 'UK' its only me, Half an Acre!!
