A quick peek at my second daughter's birthday invite.
This is, in fact, invitation number three and has yet to pass inspection by the very demanding almost-7-year-old eyes and opinions. Only time will tell if this makes the cut with her.
As for me, I like it.
**UPDATE**
We have passed the test and can go to print! Phew!
Oh and I thought it was such a happy illustration that I decided to offer it as a print in my Etsy shop here.

She's adorable! I am cracking up that your 7-year-old is so opinionated. How can such little people have such strong opinions? LOL Good for her for thinking for herself! That will serve her well in life. :)
Kids can be hard critics! I love it!
Even if she doesn't like it I think it is faboo! It is fun and cheerful. I would love to see that in our mailbox.
That is so cute! She's very lucky to have such an amazingly talented mom. I love how you had to run it by your daughter.. mine is the same way.PICKY PICKY! LOL
how cute is that!!! what a great invitation!
That would also make an ADORABLE "I'm a big sister!" card. I would have gotten those for Lily when charlotte was born, she would have loved it!
Adorable! Both girls!
She is a lucky 7-year old with a personal invitation designer :) Looks so sweet!
