...cookie of course!
I wanted to share with all of you an interview I've done for A Mom in Red High Heels. For What? I hear you shouting. For A Mom in Red High Heels ! It's a website for mothers where you will find fashion and beauty tips. And Tammy, who owns the site, runs interviews with real mothers who share their little tips on staying stylish.
You're still laughing aren't you?
Okay, admittedly, I don't have the most stringent of beauty regimes, but there is a little bit there. Okay, maybe just a tiny bit. But something, I promise.
I will be honest and say that when she contacted me I was a bit taken back and thought for sure it must be a hoax. But because I like a good joke as much as the next person, I went and checked out her site and as it turns out, it's not a joke and in fact, the website is very nice! And so I shrugged my shoulders and said, "why not"!
And now here I am! So go everyone and have a look at this very fun and useful website. And as a bonus, you'll all get to see the man in my life....

Even though it seems like autumn has only just begun, I thought I should really try to get ahead of things, something which is usually quite contrary to my habits. Not contrary to my personality because in my mind I'm a very organised and forward thinking person. However, in my reality things can often be quite different and more often than not, I find myself scrambling at the last minute to achieve what I thought about 6 months prior.
But just to prove that even the seemingly impossible is possible from time to time, I have created 2 new digistamps to help you start thinking of warm cups of cocoa, frosted windows and long walks in the snow. They are now available in the printables section of my shop so all you have to do is purchase and bingo, they are yours to download. Talk about immediate gratification!
Time permitting, I'm planning a few more and so if you have any suggestions please do feel free to let me know. Have fun!

No, I haven't abandonned my blog though by the looks of it, I could see how one may wonder. It's been (once again) rather hectic around here with a few technical problems, a rather large and sudden cold and various other mishaps of daily life.
But I have been keeping busy if not been terribly profilic with my words. During my silence, I have in fact been working and one of the things I've been working on (and having rather a lot of fun with) is a new collection of prints - The Calicos.
The idea has been simmering for some time now and it finally simmer long enough that it seems to have finally all come together. So with a few patterns added to some illustrations and bit of this and some of that, I have a fun new collection sure to brighten a few days!
You can see them all here (though I'm still adding some) but here are a few samples for you to see.

I have finally heard back from the mysterious iluvspink and her alias is Mary Jane! So a big congratulations to you Mary Jane for being chosen as the winner of the Chichiboulie giveaway.
Mary Jane is in deep discussions with her consultants (also known as her daughters) to try to come up with a decision on a painting.
In the meantime, I thought I would show off a new print in my shops. It's been in the thinking phase for a while now and yesterday I committed it to paper. Well, okay, I committed it to digital paper. But it wasn't quite right. You know the old saying to "sleep on it"? Well that's what I did and it came to me overnight. So this morning it was just a matter of putting it all together. I'm quite pleased with the results in the end.
Thank you all again for participating in my giveaway and please do stay tuned for more giveaways and events!

Something new for me and for the moment on a trial basis.
Over the past few months, I've had quite a number of requests from customers and contacts for digital stamps. Up until now, I put it on the back burner and would think about it from time to time. I had to figure out the logistics really and decide if I really wanted to launch into the world of printables.
Well, I thought about it long enough and maybe had a few more pushes in the direction so I've finally decided to give it a try.
I've been lucky enough to have a few wonderful stampers in my contact list who have been helping me along the way. Hope (my idea of recess) has been lovely in giving me feedback and positive vibes. But not only that, she's been being my guinea pig as well and has provided me with, among others, this gorgeous ballerina card. Didn't she do a fabulous job!
As you may have guessed, this image is one of the digital stamps you can now purchase here. For the moment, the selection is small, but I hope to be adding more slowly. I'd love you to come have a look and let me know what you think. And any stampers and scrappers out there, please spread the word!

Well..... a winner was actually selected from all the entries I received. I put all the names and entries into a hat and as promised, a winner was chosen.
But I haven't heard back from her yet. I sent an email but so far no response. I was hoping to have a name before posting here, but I think now that maybe posting here will help find her. So, instead of waiting for a name, I'm going to post part of her email and hopefully you will contact me to choose your painting.
Please send me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) so we can discuss your prize and I can have a name to go with the email!
I will give it another few days (until Friday morning) and then if it's still silence on the other end, I'll start the process all over and choose another winner. I hope to hear from you!

.... and there are a lot of names to put into this hat! So I ask you all very kindly to give me a couple of days to prepare everything for the prize drawing and I will post the winner as soon as he or she has been selected. Thank you all for participating!
In the meantime, I do have a a little something. Since the weather has turned, I thought it was about time for the Paper Doll girls to have a couple of new autumn outfits to keep the chill off. I have uploaded them into the Paper Doll category over there on the right. You can click and download them to add to your doll's wardrobes. Anna, Pippa and Imogen will be so pleased because truly, what little girl doesn't love a new outfit?!
Pippa, Anna and Imogen can be found by clicking on the links.
